No. Studies have shown that the amount of Fluoride in the water has been significantly reduced over the past couple of years. Studies have shown that while the MCL for Fluoride is 4 ppm the average water quality report for Fluoride levels have shown to be about 0.5. Fluoride is also very difficult to remove and the only media that removes fluoride leeches into the water causing a bigger problem. The only way to remove Fluoride is with a reverse osmosis system or distillation which will cause damage to your entire homes plumbing system over time.
The AquaOx has a flow rate of 15 gallons per minute and the average shower head is 2.5 gallons per minute. For an average family of four, the AquaOx will last anywhere from 15 to 20 years.
